Demons and Dungeoneers! Troll of Lumgard is a gamebook using a swords & sorcery story. To play the game, you will need a 6-sided die or generator.

The story so far: Lumgard is a peaceful settlement of Dragonborn run by a high elf count and countess. The city has all kinds of races, but it is predominantly dragonborn. These peaceful settlers are frightened that a troll the size of a two-story gabled building has threatened the village's destruction if it doesn’t get the goods it asks for, including a dozen sheep, over 500 gold coins, and 100 barrels of ale. The goods will be delivered to the Troll’s Landing, a hole that drops 5000 feet into a twisted dungeon full of corridors and caves. One can only descend by grappling hook and strong rope unless you are a troll, which is easy for them to climb down.

A gigantic troll crushed a town's two-story building and watch tower to ensure the demands were taken seriously. As archers came out to attack, the arrows didn’t penetrate the troll's skin, so it ignored the threat and retreated to the woods of Lumgard.

This is where the Dungeoneer’s Guild offers the contract to search for the trolls' leader and end its demand. You must first travel to Castle Bavidirian to get valuable advice from the three sister seers before setting out on a long journey to make it to the village of Lumgard.
